A short guide to installing UZARO and using its main features.

Install

The easiest way is to install “UZARO Messenjer” from Google Play. If your phone has no Google Play, install the APK:

Get it on Google PlayUpdates automatically

  1. Tap “Download for Android” on this site.
  2. Open the downloaded UZARO.apk file.
  3. If your phone asks to allow installs from unknown sources, give your browser that permission.
  4. When the install finishes, open UZARO.

Only download the file from uzaromessenger.uz. Copies shared on other channels or sites may have been modified.

Install on Windows

  1. Click the “Windows” button and download the UZARO-Setup file.
  2. Run the file. No admin rights are needed: the app installs for your user account only.
  3. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click “More info” and then “Run anyway”. The warning appears because the app is not code-signed yet.
  4. Open UZARO and sign in with your phone number or with a QR code from Telegram on your phone.
Verify the file (optional)

To check the file is genuine, run Get-FileHash in PowerShell. The result must match this SHA-256:2bdedb855f51e2fb83dac430ac8dd4fd3c57cfe7d823773fb2fb15b4ddb8bc2e

Sign in

  1. Enter your number in international format: +998 …
  2. Enter the code that arrives in Telegram or by SMS.
  3. If you use two-step verification, enter that password too.
  4. Later you can add 11 more numbers and switch between them with one tap.

Ghost mode

  • Open the side menu and turn on “Ghost rejim”.
  • While it is on, read receipts, “typing…” and your online status are not sent.
  • It applies to every chat until you turn it off.

Deleted messages

  • Originals of messages that someone deletes or edits go into the archive.
  • The archive stays on this phone and is never sent anywhere.
  • A message stays in the archive only if the app received it before it was deleted.

PIN lock

  • Turn on the PIN lock in Settings and choose a 6-digit code.
  • Pick when the app locks itself: every time, or after a few minutes.
  • After 5 wrong attempts, the wait before the next try keeps growing.

Forgot the code? Reinstall the app and sign in with your Telegram number. Chats are stored in Telegram, but the deleted-messages archive on the phone is lost.

Open a shop

  1. Go to Hub → Business profile → “Open a shop”.
  2. Enter the shop name, description, region and a phone number or Telegram username for contact.
  3. Tap “Save and send for review”. Once an admin approves it, buyers in your region can see the shop.
  4. Add products: title, price, photo and the “For sale” switch.

Your first 2 shops are free. A shop is reviewed again after every change.

Place an ad

  1. Go to Business profile → “Place your ad”.
  2. Enter a headline, a short text and a link to an image or video.
  3. Pick the regions and duration, and the total price is calculated right away.
  4. Transfer the amount to the card shown and upload a photo of the receipt.
  5. Once an admin approves the receipt, your ad starts showing in the banner.
